At present, the colored floor materials in children's playgrounds on the market are mainly divided into several categories: EPDM rubber particles, rubber floor mats, PVC assembled floors, PU plastic, etc. Among them, the floor paved with EPDM rubber particles and PU glue has become the first choice for most mid-to-high-end playgrounds due to its comprehensive performance advantages, and is also recognized as the "safety and environmental protection benchmark" in the industry.
EPDM, full name Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer Rubber, is a synthetic rubber material and also the core base material of colored floors in children's playgrounds. It is not ordinary rubber, but processed through special technology, specially adapted to children's activity scenes, and its advantages can be called "tailor-made for children".

The core advantage of high-quality PU glue is first reflected in high bonding strength. It can form a firm elastic connection with EPDM rubber particles. The bonded floor has strong integrity, not easy to crack or shed particles. Even after long-term running and jumping rolling by children, it can remain flat and stable, avoiding children from tripping and being injured due to floor damage. At the same time, PU glue has extremely strong adhesion, which can firmly adhere to the ground base. Whether it is a cement floor or an asphalt floor, it can achieve close bonding, adapting to a variety of site bases.
In addition, PU glue also has the characteristics of strong weather resistance, water resistance and wear resistance. It can resist the erosion of rainwater and ultraviolet rays, not easy to age or crack. Acting together with EPDM particles, it can further extend the service life of the floor; at the same time, it has excellent water resistance, which can prevent rainwater from seeping into the base, avoid moisture damage to the base, and indirectly reduce the floor maintenance cost. More importantly, PU glue itself has a certain elasticity, which can echo the elasticity of EPDM particles, further improving the cushioning performance of the floor and making children's foot feel more comfortable.
